Sarah A. Roberts is an Assistant Professor of mathematics education at University of California, Santa Barbara. Her research interests include equity in mathematics education, specifically with regards to multilingual learners; persistence of first-generation undergraduate students; and retention in STEM majors. She is interested in preparing and studying effective, equity-focused preservice and inservice teachers who challenge and provide access to their students.
