Texas has more than 1.2 million Emergent Bilinguals, the largest in the nation. With the Instructional Materials Review and Approval (IMRA) cycle in full swing, the state is uniquely positioned to ensure Emergent Bilingual (EB) students have access to instructional materials that affirm their identities, build academic language, and accelerate content learning.
